Position - Group Project Manager/AGM

Qualification - B.Tech, exposure in infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

- Strong client consulting skills, both oral and written communications

- Assessment of Client’s current storage environment and then develop storage solutions to meet their current requirements plus future growth. The solution work will include configurations, implementation plans, conversion approaches and all aspects required to create details plans for implementation.

- Candidate will be expected to create design and architecture documents. Candidate will be expected to create run books and instructional documents

- Review and validate project artifacts, solution designs, estimates and sizing for quality, accuracy, completeness and adherence to the original requirements and design parameters

- Candidate must have the ability to create business cases and present the architecture and design that they create

- Demonstrated experience in leading projects, implementation teams and clients in SAN configuration and assessment services, requirements gathering, storage implementations, data migration and application testing

Recent Technical Skills:

Expert level storage experience in

- EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, EMC RecoverPoint, Replication technologies – MirrorView, SRDF etc, EMC Centerra, EMC DataDomain, EMC Vplex, ECC, Data Protection adviser

- Hitachi VSP, Hitachi HUS VM, Hitachi HCP,

- NetApp experience (SnapShot, SnapMirror, SnapRestore, ASUP, Upgrades, De-Duplication, SnapVault, Operations Manager, Testing, HW/SW Installation, Operations Manager, De-Duplication, Documentation, Backup Software, ASUP Grab, Storage Capacity Management, Performance Testing.) working with ONTAP 7.X and 8.x

- Knowledge of SAN fabrics, CISCO and Brocade experience

- Architecture design and implementation of advanced storage solutions including re-tiering, de-duplication, compression, encryption, key management, compliance, thin provisioning, backup modernization, big data and Private or Hybrid Cloud Storage

- Expert level experience with VMware - 4 to 6 years of consulting experience

- Experience with design and architecture for VDI, VMWare, HyperV, Exchange , SAP, Oracle

- Understanding the end to end connection from host to storage (HBA connections from host to storage) Fiber channel,

- Knowledge of NAS - NFS, NAS - CIFS, Experience with NetApp VSC and SMVI

- Implementation level certified minimum. Architect is preferred but not required.

At least 8 Years' experience with storage technology

Installation and configuration of a cluster into a SAN and NAS environment

Knowledgeable in other products: NetApps, Fujitsu, Hitachi, HP and IBM (certifications desirable)

Experience with Networks, Port Channels/VIFS, VLANS

Experienced in storage virtualization with an understanding of, Array based virtualization, EMC VPLEX and IBM’s San Volume Controller (SVC)

Storage consolidation Replication and Migration (including array based and host based) experience

Strong knowledge of backup and recovery management solutions
