REPORTS TO: Managing Director

ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND/CULTURE

Habanero is Bangalore’s first authentic Tex-Mex restaurant, featuring hearty vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Over the years Texan and Mexican cuisines melded together into what’s now called Tex-Mex. Habanero, features all three: classic Mexican foods, Tex-Mex creations, and Texas-influenced American items.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The COO will be responsible for the execution, growth and profitability of all operations for this exciting brand. An integral part of senior leadership, the COO will help grow the brand, drive operations excellence and have the passion and presence to grow this brand nationally.

- Drive-revenue, profitability, customer experience and people capability

- Formulate & review performance against operating plans, analyze market conditions Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the expansion, pricing, sales, and/or marketing.

- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement

- People & Process Leadership with focus on customer experiences & profitability.

- Enable processes and systems to enhance operational efficiencies

- Should be good at commercials and confident of achieving desired results within given time frame.

- Promote Growth - Pursue external, strategic alliances that will create growth opportunities for Company locally and nationally.

- Works in partnership with the Managing Director to achieve overall company goals for sales, gross margins and controllable expenses.

- Supervise and mentor the leadership team

- Identifies personnel and staffing issues for long-term success of the restaurants.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree on hospitality of business management or an MBA

- 12 - 15 years of experience. Preferred in a progressive, fine dining/hospitality, multi-unit, restaurant management experience.

- Knowledge of accounting procedures and POS Systems.
