By promising businesses a number of new, excited, web savvy customers, Groupon offers deals that aren- t available elsewhere and aims to become the operating system for local businesses across the world.  Key Responsibilities:  - Ensure compliance to all Indian statutory and legal regulations applicable on the Company.  - Vetting/Drafting all agreements, MOUs, letters, notices or any other legal document to be executed by the Company.  - Liaising with law firms/lawyer for various of legal requirements.  - Complete ownership and maintenance of all Statutory Records including Minutes, Statutory Registers including e-filing of all forms to ROC including annual filing.  - Vetting Deal Agreements on a regular basis and resolving Merchant queries.  - Manage all FDI/ FEMA related compliances and RBI Reporting's.  - Managing all national and state specific HR/Other compliances in 12 cities in India where Groupon is present.  - Coordinating with Finance team and Big4 consultancy firms for the legal aspect of all the new projects being undertaken by the Company.  - Maintain and update on a regular basis an exhaustive database of all Agreements entered by the company related to various departments.  - Handle all the matters of intellectual property laws, trademark filing process and ability to assess the legal risks associated with it.  - Draft notices, replies for any potential Customer Complaints, probable litigation or correspondences with Government agencies.  - Should possess sharp legal research skills to assess the legal risk and ensure due compliance with any upcoming project/ deal, and suggest management accordingly.  - Represent Company before the Courts, Forums, Company Law Board, or any other quasi-judicial body or government agency.  - Coordination and Reporting to the International Legal Team of Groupon in US and Europe.  - Coordinating legal work for Mergers & Acquisitions carried out by the Company in near future, in India or in neighbour countries.  - Starting and setting up a legal due diligence team in future for various legal requirements e.g. legal diligence of merchants and potential legal work related to defaulting customers, employees and various third parties.  Key Technical Requirements:  - Company Secretary + LLB with 4 to 7 years of progressive work experience.  - Strong knowledge of all Corporate Laws and FEMA.  - Strong knowledge of Company Secretarial work.  General Skills:  - Excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and focus on results  - Self-motivator and entrepreneurial attitude to work with minimum supervision  - Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills  - Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects and tasks  - Strong ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment with a high degree of accuracy.  What we offer:  - You are a part of shaping a successful and rapidly growing internet start-up.  - You develop your own ideas and become an essential member of the Company.  - You operate within flexible structures with short response times, flat hierarchies and motivated colleagues.  CTC- 6 to 10 Lakhs depending on previous experience.
