A leading Media Group is looking for a dynamic, Group Talent Acquisition Partner, to head up all recruitment and talent acquisition across the Group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the B2B conference and media sales sector, specifically in attracting and hiring "high performing" media sales and business development talent.
- You will be responsible for the entire candidate experience from pipeline generation to successful offer acceptance, working strategically with our internal hiring managers to meet their hiring needs.
Responsibilities :
- Working closely with the hiring managers / MD's of each business to recruit talent in the following roles : Sponsorship Sales, Sales Managers, Conference Production, Delegate Sales, Marketing, Event Management, Editorial and IT / Developers
- Creating short, medium and long term recruitment plans for each business
- Writing engaging job descriptions, job adverts, social media content
- Managing recruitment content on our Linked-In pages and careers section of our websites
- Proactively headhunting of the best "sales talent" in the industry
- Negotiating and managing the most cost effective advertising channels to maximise ROI on paid for advertising
- Establishing and managing appropriate tracking systems for recruitment processes across all recruitment channels to measure cost per candidate acquisition
- Establishing, negotiating and maintaining recruitment agency relationships
- Managing the interview process for the live vacancies and coordinating with hiring mangers for interviews
- Holding initial telephone and face to face interviews with all candidates in most time efficient manor in order to qualify and filter candidates
- Developing recruitment best practice across the business and with hiring managers
- Managing internal "refer a friend" incentive scheme and ensuring the scheme has maximum internal awareness amongst all staff
- Working closely with HR assistant to draft offer letters and employment contracts
- Contributing to Group strategy to set and reinforce sustainable business values and ethos enabling us to attract talent that is motivated by their passions and interest
Skills :
- Degree educated with proven experience of working in a fast-paced corporate Talent Acquisition function
- 6+ years related Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience
- Proven experience of recruiting hard to recruit talent for key sales roles, via head hunting and other pro active recruitment tactics
- A solid understanding of the people functions and roles in B2B conference, publishing and digital media businesses
- A deep knowledge of digital recruitment channels, job boards and social media
- Ability to work at pace in a challenging, high pressured environment
- Exceptional teamwork and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills to sell roles into candidates and to negotiate contract terms with candidates under offer
- Ability to recruit at all levels including senior roles and board level hires
- An interest in talent management, employee engagement, motivation and building strong company cultures
- Ability to implement, manage, and report against systems and processes relating to OnBoarding, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Records
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- Track record of exercising strong judgment and maintaining objectivity and discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information
- Expertise in compensation, benefits, employee relations, company culture, coaching, performance management, and recruitment.
