GPM-Rural will be responsible for driving category growths and share for rural India and thereby deliver the top-line and bottom line for the category. In order to achieve this, the incumbent will need to drive the following:  1.Develop consumer understanding with regards to all categories and understand their key drivers and barriers for adoption of the category.  2. Basis consumer understanding develop complete mix for rural areas including pack sizes and price points, communication and messaging for both the consumers and key opinion formers and drive category adoption.  3. Create projects for new mix for rural and drive cross functional team to deliver the same.  4. Drive consumer research for mix validation and deep dive into analytics reports for rural for the category to develop insights on source of growth for the category.  5. Keep a close watch on the competition - not only direct competitors but indirect ones as well.  6. Develop non-traditional media formats to drive communication to the consumers.  7. To seek out new partnerships that aid in adoption of the category.  8.
