Position reports to : Vice-President (Legal)  Academic Qualification required : Graduate in any discipline plus an LLB or directly a Law Graduate from a reputed institute/university (pass-out batch of any year from 2003 to 2008)  Experience required : 8-12 years PQE :   - Non-litigation experience in Media Industry, with exposure to IPR  - Excellent drafting skills will be a critical requirement  - Expertise in research and keeping up with changing laws (and case law studies/ judgements)   - Should be well versed with Intellectual Property laws, Contract Act, Arbitration Act & Negotiable Instrument Act etc  - excellent Communication skills  - Should be able to multi-task.  - Should have sound negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to prioritize.  Primary Responsibility :  Non-Litigation Involves :   - Drafting and vetting of of Media Related Agreements like advertising agency contracts, media contracts, talent management contracts and event management contracts and Content Acquisition (for satellite, radio, cable, New Media -internet, mobile etc)   - Protection of the Intellectual Property and advising the Company on issues relating to Copyright  - Drafting letters, representations and replies for statutory authorities requiring legal advise and assistance;  - Monitoring progress in all legal matters to ensure timely action;  - Working closely with the business teams, understanding their legal needs and managing the same - deal negotiations, contract drafting advice on intellectual property laws, production, distribution and all Radio related contracts, contract law and other areas of law, rights management.
