About our Client : Our client is an international premium player in the Food industry. Well established in the western hemisphere, they are now turning their attention to India with the intention of growing their footprint. They offer a diverse range of Foods. They are poised to grow rapidly and need a strong Group Brand manager to support the growth for India

Job Description: Reporting to the Marketing Head, the incumbent will be responsible for:

Brand Equity:

- Evaluate current brand equity and create improved brand architecture Insight Generation & Application

- Research and discover powerful consumer insights to unlock growth and inform brand strategies

Brand Strategy:

- Collate and analyze market trends, draft brand plans, develop an optimal marketing mix, recommend positioning and pricing strategies, co-ordinate market research activities, and strengthen brand equity

- Monitor competitor activities, and undertake timely market interventions.

Marketing Plan:

- Prepare the Marketing Plan & Media Briefs

- Coordinate with agencies, track media deliverables and sales volumes

- Develop the Annual Brand Plan in conjunction with the Business Head, Sales & agencies Consumer Promotions

- Recommend consumer promotions schemes, prepare financial analysis, coordinate with supply chain and sales for procurement and implementation to increase sales volumes

Trade Promotions:

- Plan the trade promotion scheme and key outlet scheme, prepare the financial analysis, take approvals, monitor performance of the schemes to increase width and depth of distribution

New Product Development:

- Recommend launch for new products.

- Work with R&D on product development, conduct market and feasibility studies for new products; assist the Marketing & R&D Head in conceiving new product strategies.

- Creating and executing launch and communication plans

The Successful Candidate:

- A post graduate degree from a premier institute with specialization in Marketing.

- A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in an FMCG set up in marketing.

- Should have experience across both front line sales and brand management in foods.

- The incumbent should have a high degree of quantitative analytical skills, interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation and presentation skills.
