We listen closely to each other to improve our products, our service, and ultimately, the lives of our consumers  Job Location: Worli, Mumbai  Greenlight is rapidly growing its Solar products business now available with easy financing options (also called as EasyBuy) through it's own Direct Distribution Network as well as with the help of large distribution partners around the world, including leading MFIs, mobile network operators and commercial retail distributors. Global risk leader shall lead the optimization & rationalization of credit & portfolio risk that is inherent on the Direct Distribution business. The Risk leader shall provide enhanced analytical insight into the credit risks, pro-actively implement & drive operational & sales force processes and work closely with the cross-functional teams of sales, operations, finance and technology in order to minimize credit risks & improve portfolio health.   The candidate will have experience in a large, sophisticated credit granting or risk management function within a major consumer card, financial services, and Rural Banks or Micro-Finance Institution business. This individual will bring a strong analytical orientation, an appreciation for broad-based credit risk issues, understanding of data mining techniques, and a familiarity with operations  Key responsibilities for the role include:  - Developing analytically driven Credit & Portfolio Risk models. Exploring and implementing alternate modeling techniques to deliver more predictive models  - Must have the knowledge and expertise to deliver innovative modeling techniques and data strategies to deliver best in class stress testing and/or credit scoring models  - Structure and drive operational credit risk management processes effectively (Such as underwriting, risk scoring, repossessions etc.) in conjunction with sales force and operations.   - Perform analysis to estimate and explain the impact of changing macroeconomic trends & seasonality on Portfolio Performance Losses, delinquency, disabled rates etc.  - Perform all required tests and measures of developed models (e.g., sensitivity, accuracy, volatility), deliver comprehensive model documentation, Validate and Recalibrate models on periodic basis as in line with company's policies & processes  - Presentations to both technical and non-technical personnel are required to be made frequently as part of the job. Must have capability to clearly communicate analyses  - Building robust / actionable Portfolio Quality monitoring & review mechanism. Regular presentations to Senior Management on Portfolio Quality movement with specific recommended action areas. Obtaining sign-offs of relevant stake-holders and ensuring implementation of action items agreed during the Portfolio Reviews.  - Preparation, launch and monitoring of Pilot Schemes for limited period/geography in consultation with Product/Analytics and Risk Teams. Publication of periodic MIS regarding the same.  - Conducting spot audits/analysis to ensure process adherence and publishing noncompliance reports for the erring locations  - Carrying out tampering and fraud analytics with the help of Analytics Team and optimizing fraud detection & prevention frame-work.  The ideal candidate:  - Master's degree in a quantitative discipline: Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Operations Research or Statistics  - 8+ years of work experience in relevant areas such as Underwriting, Portfolio & Credit Risk monitoring, Credit Analytics & Scoring; Credit card, Micro Finance Institution or Rural Loan industry experience especially in an analytics, policy or credit scoring role is preferred.   - Prior experience in developing loan level models is preferred using one or more industry recognized modelling constructs is preferred.  - Well-networked individual with entrepreneurial energy and passion to develop processes, systems and teams from grounds-up.
