Job Description:-  Company Profile: GoJaVAS a leading logistics provider to E-Commerce industry  Position Summary:  The Accounting and Finance Lead is responsible for performing specialized accounting work required to maintain the general ledger for a Logistics company and to maintain healthy cash flows through regular monitoring of creditors/ debtors. Accounting and Finance Lead directs and coordinates the daily activities of the accounting staff to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities.The incumbent is also responsible for preparing annual financial statements and coordinating audits.  Key Responsibilities:  - Oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger  - Supervise, direct and review the work of the accounting staff  - Cash management through monitoring and control of creditors/ debtors  - Maintain organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions  - Resolve complex accounting/financial issues or assist other Authority personnel in resolving financial issues  - Review general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy  - Produce financial reports for monthly board meetings  - Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities  - Produce quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports  - Make and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures  - Perform other duties as assigned or required  Knowledge, Skills and Experience:  - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Standards  - Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures  - Ability to work independently, with little supervision  - Ability to effectively direct and supervise  - Ability to analyze financial data and to prepare accurate reports in a timely fashion  - Knowledge of policies and practices associated with payroll and benefits administration  - Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records  - Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally  Education & Work Experience:  Preferably a CA degree with at least 5-8 years of experience in similar roles.
