Job description for the vacant position for (2X45MW) sites in U.P:
Unit Head (GM) - Requirement-01
Location:-U.P
a.Desired qualification and experience level
I.Graduate Engineer with min. 18 yrs of experience in O&M of IPP min. 30 MW Capacity & CFBC boiler operations of minimum 80THP & 550kg/cm2 .
II.Diploma holders with 22 Years of similar Experience may also apply.
III.BOE / NPTI Candidates will be preferred.
IV. Maximum age limit to apply is 55 years.
V.Knowledge of SAP.
b.Scope of job /Job Purpose
Responsible for project supervision with respect to cost, resource manpower, time over runs & quality compliance, evaluating project progress & taking adequate corrective action.
c.Key responsibilities
I.Ensure plant availability, reliability and generation as per agreed target and standard.
II.Complete responsibility of operation & maintenance for 90 MW Power plant
III.Ensure plant efficiency parameters as per targets.
IV.Ensure repair and maintenance cost as per targets and bring about cost reduction by different productive means
V.Manage technical and administrative problems related to operations and maintenance in the plant.
VI.Ensure adherence to safety, environment and regulatory norms and compliance with energy conservation norms
VII.Resource planning for O&M, fuel management, O&E and MTP –manpower, materials and annual contracts
VIII.Liaison with government officials, pollution control board, SLDC, UPPCL and IBR agencies.
d.Functional competence requirement:-
I.Knowledge of the entire generation process from fuel management to grid management
II.Knowledge and understanding of tariff norms, tariff structure, grid code and commercial aspects of power sales
III.Knowledge of contracts and purchase procedures and awareness of suppliers of materials and services
IV.Knowledge of environment and safety and security requirements and statutory guidelines.
V.Knowledge of roles and function of CEA,CERC,RLDC,SLDC etc.
