GM/ Senior Manager - Project Planning  Organisation : A leading real estate group  Primary Responsibility : Responsible for predicting and planning the delivery of the project and the completion of its various stages and monitoring the progress at the sites to ensure a timely completion  Reporting Relationships :  - Reports to Head - Project Execution  - Reportees - Planning and Monitoring team  Education/Experience/ Mindsets and behaviours :  - Extensive knowledge and 8-10 years of experience in Project Planning  - Worked on large scale projects in monitoring and overall administrating related field  - Result and delivery orientation  - Strong transparency and accountability mind-set  - A mind-set to study and adopt best global practices  Skills :  - Ability to manage and lead people  - Planning and project management skills including knowledge and comfort with tools like Primavera, MS- Projects, Budgeting tools  - Ability to collect and process the information to be able to predict the completion deadlines  - Keen eye for quality and delivery  - Interpersonal and communication skills  Responsibilities :  Pre-project support :   - Provide input to the Head - Project Execution during the project concept stage on timely delivery and cost estimates  Project Monitoring :   - Work with the project team and relevant departments to create project master program identifying all parts of the projects, detailing design and construction milestones, summarizing all activities (including activities of consultant, contractor and other specified direct material suppliers)  - Monitor and control the schedule and generate relevant cash-flows to assist in financial planning, in addition to reporting the status of individual projects on a monthly basis  - The planning team works with the project managers to manage and control the time schedules during the design, procurement, construction and handover stages of projects and interface with consultants and contractors, in addition to the in-house design, procurement and construction management teams to provide planning and scheduling services  - Identify any gaps between the planned and actual completion schedule and update the plan in accordance with the current status  - Generate monthly reports on the development and the construction status of each project in accordance to the planned time lines  - Facilitate information flow between the actual execution work at sites and management teams  - Work on Introducing planning tools which can provide better prediction for the delivery  - Perform critical path delay analysis to support review and recommend negotiation strategies on claims for extension of time  Process Improvement :   - Develop a master program which incorporates the best scheduling possible in terms of resource availability and cost constraints  - Develop standard templates for reporting project progress which can help easily identify gap between plan and actual physical progress  People Development :   - Build strong and motivated subordinate teams by supporting direct reports in professional development; instructing and mentoring to develop required knowledge and skills for better performance and succession planning  Salary : As per qualification & Experience
