POSITION SUMMARY  The role-holder is responsible for leading the global learning function of the organization which involves the following:  1. Functional Expertise and Thought Leadership  - Define the global learning frameworks and agenda  - Manage organization critical learning requirements like compliance  - Offer relevant learning solutions  - Measure effectiveness of the solutions  - Drive organizational learning capability enhancement projects  2. Stakeholder Management  - Establish strong working relation with stakeholders  - Communicate and collaborate effectively  - Create visibility and buy in for the function  3. Team Management  - Manage performance, engagement and development of the team members  OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  1. Drive the global learning agenda for the organization   - Design global learning strategy and priorities aligned to business requirements  - Global learning processes and policies  2. Drive various interventions to be rolled out across the organization   - Detailed training needs analysis and global roll- out plans  3. Design and drive the managerial and leadership development roadmap for the organization   - Overall roadmap and specific intervention designs mapped on the global talent model  - Identification of learning partners  4. Drive the implementation of new Learning Management System (LMS)   - Successful implementation of LMS  - Enhancement of WBT offerings  5. Evaluate the impact of training, efficacy of the training interventions and methodologies used on an ongoing basis   - Designing the training impact measurement tools  - Deployment strategy of these tools  - Monitor MIS on training effectiveness and its analysis  - Acting upon the feedback and data analysis findings  6. Bring in the contemporary methodology mix in learning and establish a learning culture   - Stay current and benchmark the interventions as per global market and industry best practices to keep them best in class  - Establish a culture of learning  7. Team management   - Manage performance, engagement and development of the team members  4. KEY INTERFACES / INTERACTIONS  External Interfaces Internal Interfaces (Other than Direct Reports)  Learning Partners, Vendors Business Leaders, HR Leadership Team, BU HR Teams  5. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES  Indicate the education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet minimum requirements for this position.  Education : (degree / diploma)   - Post Graduate in Human Resources  - Certification on psychometric and talent assessment tools  - Certification in coaching is an added advantage  Experience - 10 - 15 years, of which at least 3 years managing a learning function / team  Knowledge and Skills  (Functional / Technical)   - Experience in setting up learning team / function  - Understanding of how to institutionalize geographically spread large scale learning solutions  - Experience in instructional design  - Experience in designing leadership development solutions  - Training facilitation experience with mid-senior level employees  - Certified on relevant psychometric tools  - Vendor management and ability to evaluate training content / programs  - Excellent communication and influencing skills  Leadership / Managerial Attributes   - Ability to come up with well thought through and practical solutions  - Ability to work with and influence diverse stakeholder groups  - Keen learner having an eye for detail  - Speed of execution and drive for results
