This is a key role in the Genpact Pharmalink Consulting & Technology team to lead and overseeing the development of new client technology offerings for Regulatory Affairs. The role will drive the analysis, data and system architecture, design and implementation of Regulatory Affairs solutions, will also input to the technology aspects of client proposals, client strategy development and client regulatory technology projects as required.  The Regulatory Technology Solution Architect will conceptualize and build solutions, enforce design patterns and architecture best practice in addition to interfacing with the Genpact Pharmalink Regulatory Affairs BPO business and their clients to understand business requirements, develop prototypes and to showcase conceptual solutions.  Key Accountabilities and Duties  - Take a leadership role in the analysis, data and system architecture, design and implementation of Regulatory Affairs solutions  - Be an internal Subject Matter Expert on Regulatory Technology, being available to all relevant internal teams for relevant consulting activities  - Be able to analyze client technology and make recommendations on client technology strategy. This includes the R&D applications, underlying infrastructure and master data  - Potential management of multiple direct reports.  - Employ appropriate solution architecture methodology and ensure it is utilized across all projects, and conduct appropriate reviews where necessary to ensure effective project governance is observed at all times. Provide a strategic overview of forecasting, resourcing, financial management and risk and issue logging, and communicate this on a regular basis.   - Proactively seek out further opportunities to capitalize on Pharmalink services, liaising effectively across the business where possible, and in particular with the Business Development and Recruitment teams. Seek out opportunities where possible to generate revenue for the company. Maintain consistent communication with the Business Development Team, ensuring they are aware of all commercial opportunities and changes within projects.  - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pharmalink services developments and if required communicate and network on a regular basis with all employees to ensure maximum understanding and appreciation of these developments and the impact on future business direction.  Skillset Required:  Specialist Skills  - 9+ Years of IT experience with 6+ years in iBPM (e.g. Appian, Mendix, IBM, Pega, Savvion, Cordys, Lombardi)   - Expert working knowledge of Regulatory technologies and data including Document Management (e.g. Documentum, FirstDoc, Veeva), Publishing (Liquent, Lorenz, CSS/ISI, Extedo), Registration Management (e.g Liquent, Register), Change Management (e.g. Trackwise)  - Has to be hands on (able to code), with experience in architecting and designing complex iBPM and EAI solutions, lead architecture and code reviews and design refactoring   - Has led Design & Architecture of real-world iBPM projects ideally in Life Sciences industries and focussed on the Research & Development functions  - Proven process mapping, process improvement, solution architecture and design skills. Good Knowledge of BPM, EAI and SOA architecture patterns, best practices and design principles   - Other skills - Java, J2EE, middleware, ESB, ETL  - A solid knowledge of Master Data Management, Analytics & cloud infrastructure technologies is also desirable  - Lean Six Sigma / Green Belt certified would be a value add  - Relevant degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1) and extensive proven experience in the regulatory affairs technology field
