Role/Profile : Assistant Vice President - F&A Operations

Is required to :

- Supervise the Process consisting of Order to Cash, Record to Report and Accounts Payable functions

- Reviewing work done by the teams

- Ensuring proper weekly and monthly governance with the stake holders

- Driving collections as per the targets

- Ensuring team adheres to the close deliverable as agreed in Close calendar every month

- Ensuring all Service levels are met as per agreed operational definitions with the customer

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Specific Competence (Essential) :

- Excellent communication skills

- Intellectual horsepower

- Strong OTC background and experience in handling F&A

- Proven track record in communication, people management, analytical, prioritization, and influencing skills

- Ability to Influence people without need for a direct reporting relationship

- Strong focus on building multi-functional teamwork and customer/supplier relationships.

Knowledge, Experience and Education :

Specific Competence (Desirable) :

- Viewed as insightful, creative, articulate, persuasive, and organized

- Strong drive, work ethic, and leadership qualities

- A down-to-earth professional style which enables win-win communication with both top executives and support personnel internally and externally

- BTB collections experience

- Primary responsibility for reviewing work done by team for Canon

- Ensuring team adherence to OTC and F&A deliverables

- Ensuring all Service levels are met as per agreed Operation definitions with the customer

- Ensuring thorough governance rigor is followed which is in place - regular reviews with Senior Stakeholders of Business

- Strong customer centric focus relationship management with key stakeholders, persuasive, proactive and can do attitude a must;

- Ensuring people practices in place

- Identifying and driving continuous process improvements

Essential :

- Demonstrable experience of managing OTC & F&A processes

- Outstanding communication skills

- Ability to influence clients :

- 10 - 12 years of experience in OTC & F&A

- Managing team size of of 60+

- Willingness to work in a US shift

Desirable :

- Post Graduate

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred)
