General Manager - Technology - Applications - Mortgage Solutions Domain

General Manager - Technology (Applications) 15+ years, Up to 35 LPA

Education : BE or MCA or post graduate degree.

Certification : PMP certification or any other project management certification will be added advantage.

Candidate Requirements :

- Should be experienced in Project Management, Software analysis, designing & developing customized business applications in different business domains, mortgage domain would be preferable

- Proficient in conceptualizing and modeling an application based on competitive advantage, Technology & Analytics

- Should be well versed and hands-on with Solution design, Database design and Architecture and Deployment architectures

- Should possess team building and people management skills

- Should have the ability to suggest solution outside the box and be innovative while solutioning

- Should have an inclination to research on emerging technologies and try projects in that space.(e.g. cloud based applications, open source applications, Mobile Apps)

- Functional & business domain knowledge of BPO/KPO will be an added advantage

- Candidate needs to have experience in working on Open Source Technologies

- Our expectation is that the candidate should have had hands on experience on the following technology set - Software Development Methodologies - Agile, Scrum, Dev Ops - any one methodology would also work

- Leadership material i.e. should be able to handle stakeholders, articulate, can handle client expectations, if he hasn't worked on all the technologies but is familiar it will work as the role is more of understanding the requirement and getting the team to work on the application.

Experience/knowledge/skills :

- 15+ years of overall experience with at least 4-5 years of experience in managing medium to large size enterprise and web projects.

- Demonstrated abilities in leading conceptualization, defining, designing, developing and implementation of technology assisted solutions for business and operational processes preferably in BFSI mortgage domain

- Experience in Technologies - Senior management role for business providing platform based services.

- Well rounded exposure to all aspects of Technologies, to supplement specific expertise in Applications design, development, implementation and support.

- Demonstrated capabilities in senior stakeholder management and customer interactions.

- Candidate needs to have experience in working on Open Source Technologies. Our expectation is that the candidate should have had hands on experience on the following technology set :

Technology :

- Front End : PHP, Java Script, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, XML, and SOAP

- Back-end : MySQL 5.x, MS SQL 2010/2012

- Frameworks : Zend, CodeIgniter or Cake PHP

- MVC,LAMP, Joomla, Word press, Magneto, Payment Gateway, API,SVN,GIT

- Webservices and integration with 3rd party systems

- Development Environment - Netbeans or Eclipse (optional)

- Software Development Methodologies : Agile, Scrum, DevOps

- Experience using Amazon Web Services products and be able to implement changes programmatically via Amazons SDK or CLI Tools

Specifies Key Result Areas for the Incumbent :

- Candidate will be part of the leadership team of Quatrro's Mortgage Solutions division, working closely with Business and Operations on IT enabled business and operational delivery solutions for platform based services to US customers. Need to liaise closely with senior stakeholders and external customers.

- Leadership and oversight of all technologies functions for this business, with primary focus on Business Applications development.

- Responsible for technical, technology enabled business solutions, information security, organizational (resource planning, performance management, project management, people management, capability development, etc.) and commercial aspects of the technologies team and related deliveries

- Responsible for leading cross-functional and cross-location IT related projects for deployment of new /enhanced business solutions.

- Manage Technologies - Solutions teams, with 2-3 layers of hierarchy between her/him and the developers. Team would include full time internal resources, third-party on contract resources and partnership with turnkey software developer vendors

- Liaise and collaborate with Corporate Technology infrastructure teams to ensure robustness and reliability and proactive capacity planning for all IT infrastructure related directly or indirectly for the business, and for ensuring compliance to IT security norms for the applications that are developed and deployed.

- Leverage cloud computing for cost effective deployment of business applications, accessible to internal teams as well as to external customers.

- Leverage industry best practices, evolving trends for benefit of business and operations

- Vendor Management may be required to manage outsourced vendors and their resources.

- Application support, enhancements and maintenance of existing and new applications and solutions will be part of the responsibilities.

- Demonstrated capabilities in senior stakeholder management and customer interactions.

- Very strong Communication Skills. Proficient in leading business-technology requirement gathering sessions, presenting solutions through presentations, flow diagrams, etc.

- Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities

- Strong collaboration and project management skills

- Should be able to lead his team members in achieving results as set forth by business
