About Chaayos :

Chaayos is a venture funded start-up serving the $6Bn Indian Chai market. We are redefining how chai is consumed in a huge unorganized growing market - currently we are at 8 cafes in Delhi NCR, we are providing chai on demand through our disposable kettles (and partnerships with Ola Cafe, Grofers, etc) and have created our own blends of premium desi chais. We are looking to aggressively grow to 60 cafes across 4 cities within the next year. This is a core team position, with very strong growth prospects as the company expands across geographies and verticals

General Manager - Supply Chain

Directly Reporting to : VP Operations

What we are looking for :

Capabilities :

- Solid Operations Background and Mindset

- Worked with warehousing and logistics; cold chain logistics preferable

- Food and Beverage Industry Supply Chain Experience

- Sourcing and Procurement Experience, with international sourcing experience preferable

- Startup attitude is a must: quick execution and willingness to work crazy hours and 6 days a week

Ideal Companies : Retail, E-Commerce, F&B, FMCG, Airlines

Responsibilities :

- Managing supply chain end to end, from sourcing, warehousing, logistics and storage

- Developing Operations excellence processes and SOPs around commissary, outsourcing and other part of supply chain

- Managing sourcing of tea and other raw materials from across India

- Procurement of all supplies for cafe, chai patti and delivery business; development of international sourcing SOPs

- Equipment and process standardization to ensure excellence in operations

- Central production planning and execution of all food, beverage and dry products

Preferable Institutions : IITs, BITS and NITs

Ideal experience : 3-5 years

Compensation : 20 - 30 L, with an option of ESOP's
