1) Product design - Development, project execution & management, application engineering, product engineering (NPD cycles mainly for electric water pumps & submersible, induction motors used for various agriculture & domestic applications)   2) Should be lead new product development team (Electric pump R&D) and effectively executing concept to commissioning ideas,new technology in pumps.   3) Mechanical - hydraulic engineering, electric engineering, in depth design & development knowledge of water pumps, induction motor, valves, & allied engineering accessories.Product Engineering & Concept Designing.  4) Should be familiar with PLM, project execution, manufacturing processes, technical marketing,proto development,strategic sourcing, vendor development, value engineering, NPD, SQIP,VAVE, EMS, Customer Interaction.   5) Ability to contribute domain expertise, due diligence practices, & to add significant value to the organization and its clients with strong analytical and problem solving skills complemented by a passion for achieving high quality in every action.   6) Execution Excellence : Through PLM - Product Life Cycle Management  7) Effective triangular assignments management with marketing, production & after sales-service peoples  8) Field visits / customer visits to understand field requirements & product improvements.   9) Close co ordination with Govt. agencies, BIS/BEE/MNRE,etc departments for getting statutory certifications & approvals.  10) Product benchmarking study & analysis.  11)Customer perspective : Interaction, technical support, innovative solutions, trouble-shooting ideas.  12) People development - Product & technical training to engineers, marketing peoples, present new product development progres to senior management, etc  13) Process & Growth Perspective - Product mapping, customer in sighting, new application development
