Experience: 10 years work experience is sales, marketing or finance management in food/beverage company.
Job Summary:
- Ensure all performance metrics for a sales region (sales volume, market share, sales revenue, costs and operating profit) are achieved.
- Accountable for quality metrics as well as for the efficiency of plant operations.
- Ensure data accuracy of all the reports sent to Head Office and of compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. Work closely with the heads of departments.
- Ensure the development of the company's human capital by selecting qualified candidates and by providing the necessary training and resources.
Job Roles and Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic input and actively contribute to the annual business planning process.
- Drive ambitious, profitable sales volume growth and manage the brand/pack/price mix for better margins and profit performance.
- Drive standardization in operating procedures, policies and practices.
- Initiate and implement strategies to manage costs and effectively utilize capital expenditures to drive business growth and manage them in line with business plan commitments.
- Improve sales and distribution performance by managing against KBIs for drop size and service frequency.
- Manage the mix between company owned and third party vehicles to drive delivery efficiencies and effectiveness as well as the urban and UPC sales contributions.
- Maximize productivity to ensure daily production volume targets are met.
- Improve efficiency of plant operations while maintaining high quality production standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees and safeguard company's assets with effective control systems.
- Perform random audits of the departments he/she oversees in cooperation with key managers in the organization to ensure compliance with published reports, Standard Operating Procedures and declared inventories (raw material, spare parts, stock count etc.).
- Review key reports regularly and analyze accuracy of the data provided by the various heads of departments prior to reporting them to Head Office.
- Ensures that annual business objectives of key managers are aligned with the company's business goals.
- Improve organizational capability by regularly providing coaching, team building support, motivation and training.
- Build an effective team based environment and motivate employees to optimize their performance by applying PMP.
- Identify high potential employees and motivate them by providing the proper career development to succeed and to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Build and maintain good industrial relations with the work force.
- Foster relationships with: key customers and suppliers, banks, external legal counsel and auditors, food and beverages associations, professional associations, community and government officials.
- Comply with company's set values and standards.
- Perform other duties as required by the job and/or management.
