With an employee base of over 4000 professionals, Aakash currently has 150 centers across pan India and serves over 150,000 students through its classroom and non-classroom programs.  Job Description:  Job Purpose:  Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Develop and implement strategic marketing & sales plans and forecasts to achieve desired objectives.  Manage sales/marketing operating budgets.  Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.  Ensure effective control of sales & marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.  Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.  Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.  Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.  Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.  Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales related units.  Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed expansion.  Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness  Selection Criteria:  MBA in Marketing & Sales, with 10-15 years of sales experience and demonstrated levels of performance across varied situations.  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  Excellent Inter-personal Skills.  Team leader, persuasive and innovative.  Should be able to take critical decisions and handle stress.  Good Leadership / Managerial Skills.
