Primary Responsibility:  Set pricing aspirations/goals/targets  Champion pricing decisions with senior management and natural owners, work with peer execution leaders to define approval standards and process, ensure implementation success and value capture   Lead new-product and lifecycle-pricing activities, create and implement pricing for complex products/categories  Drive revenue enhancement through pricing for profit  Maintain product profit targets  Contract negotiation preparation and support  Product mix/volume impact  Lead definition of metrics tracked and reports generated for monitoring price performance  Coordinate and build consensus for price setting with Finance/Billing and business heads/sales teams to ensure adoption   Develop internal and external communications related to pricing (e.g., price change communications)  Provide support and guidance to Marketing and Sales leadership to prepare material for sales team toolkit on communication of pricing decisions effectively to external stakeholders  Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to capture pricing opportunities  Analyze ongoing pricing performance and identify new pricing opportunities  Establish and maintain an intelligence database  Benchmark data (e.g., price, total cost of ownership, key contract terms)  Trend information for key product categories (e.g., key trends/changes, benefits)  Desired Candidate:   Qualifications  MBA or another advanced degree required, additional technical degree preferred 5+ years pricing experience with demonstrated success in  Change management leadership  Strategic planning and leadership  Implementation of new processes/systems  Business skills  Excellent pricing skills  Strong organisation-building skills, including talent attraction and establishing links across business units  Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills  Technical skills  Strategic ability to develop high-impact pricing strategies  Analytic ability to understand and define critical issues (benefit/value map, pre-approved discount level, mix/ volume impact)  Strong negotiating skills based on a thorough understanding of sales/marketing practice  Experience with information system design and implementation for reporting  Preferred Industry Experience  FMCG/Hospital  Hospitality- Hotels/Tourism/Airlines  Other service industries- Banking/IT/ITES  Others:  Will be responsible for driving up revenues through pricing - and is required to have understanding of how pricing impacts topline, but also how it can erode patient-footfalls in specific cases - and therefore drive a balance between the two to achieve higher revenues  Will need to be - in the market- to understand price points of competitors, and other benchmarks for competitive advantage  Required to interact closely with COOs of multiple hospitals   An ideal candidate may be from a consulting organization and has done projects for Hospitals on pricing - or may be from the Hospital industry itself - because it will need knowledge on competitors and market information  Sharp on analytics - and ability to deep-dive into data, interpret information
