Overview :   The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of processes, frameworks and tools to build teams and organizational capability. Determining the best assessment and evaluation approach to be used for the leadership development program and process, manage the organizational assessment process including analysis of findings, recommendations for improvement, and consulting to enable employee effectiveness are some of the key result areas for the incumbent.  Responsibilities   Scope of work with the Partner Organization  - Manages the implementation of major Organizational Development (OD) initiatives to increase leadership and organizational capacity.  - Develop leadership assessment strategy that includes leadership potential, readiness and development; provides strategic consultation on utilizing assessments for development.  - Identify, tracks and analyze metrics to measure organizational effectiveness   - Conduct organizational assessments and provides solutions data analysis and feedback on the priority areas for organization development.   - Work with departments and/or teams to assess and recommend actions to improve organizational capacity across a well-defined OD framework  - Leverages technology in the integration, administration and delivery of assessment and dissemination of the OD strategy  - Contribute to broader Learning and Development initiatives  - Partner with other departments within human resources to develop, align, leverage, and integrate strategies and programs   - Establish a monitoring and evaluation framework to assess progress and outcomes of the implementation of the resource mobilisation strategy  - Implementation action plan with clearly defined actions, timelines and budget.  - Review internal organizational functions and structures to establish how best can the functions and structures support the implementation of the strategy  - Present the draft strategy to the internal audience and revise the document based on feedback received  Scope of work within the organization  - Develop the position paper on the importance of Organization Development in the context of strategic and scale up programs  - Work with the senior management team of the organization to understand role of organization development as a critical aspect in strategic and scale-up grant making  - Develop the SOP on organization development for non-profit organizations that includes diagnostic metrics, assessment models, monitoring standards, benchmarking and approaches to building organization effectiveness  - Build the capacity of the internal team though workshops and trainings   - Work towards forming 'Group of practitioners' to a 'Community of practice' and eventually a 'Centre of excellence' within the organization.   - Create knowledge resources for all members of organization initially and for all our partners subsequently  - Lead the efforts in establishing partnerships with external agencies, foundations, alliances and networks  Competencies  - Strong knowledge of OD theory and its application  - Strong analytical skills  - Interpersonal/human relations skills  - Strong presentation skills  - Strong technical and problem solving ability  - Ability to maintain relationships with and influence significant individuals and diverse groups  - Ability to maintain confidentiality  Qualifications   - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred   - 12 - 15 years- work experience programs of organization development and change management.  - Broad understanding of development issues and challenges with demonstrated ability to provide intellectual leadership in building organizational effectiveness.  - Should have made significant contributions in his/her area of specialization  - Desire to work in and with non-profit sector is essential
