General Manager - Indirect Purchasing

Job Profile -

- Takes control of the overall Indirect Purchase spend.

- Provides leadership to Indirect Purchase group at TCL&TCP.

- Maintains team work, ensures motivation of members & implement Cummins mission statement of motivation of people to act like owner working together.

- Responsible for meeting all the demand fulfilment of Indirect Materials, finalising the Annual Maintenance Contract, achieve cost reduction and cost avoidance to keep the Factory Overhead Cost low.

- Responsible for new vendor introduction, development of alternate sources to meet the requirement and reduce the cost.

- To manage the contingency situations and upgrade the process based on benchmarking of best practices.
