This opening is for one of our client, a biggest Textile Brands in India. They are currently looking out for a very senior position in HR,GM-HR(Corporate HR). HR Postgraduates from Premier B-Schools please apply.

- If from a good B school ( XLRI, IIMS etc) 8 years and from tier 2 it could be 12 years max

- Must have experience in all the functions of HR.

- Good consumer product company.

Bangalore candidates preferred

Summary Objective:

- The GM-HR is responsible for overseeing the people functions of the organization in accordance with the policies and practices of the Company as well as ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

- The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining existing HR programs/systems and designing/implementing new programs/systems needed to meet the business strategies and goals of the organization. This will include strategic human capital management/planning to ensure the Company employs, retains and develops the best talent available.

- Additionally, the incumbent will ensure that progressive HR policies, practices and procedures are in place to maintain a high-performing organization.

- The incumbent must have a proven ability and experience to effectively direct and implement HR programs and systems in a decentralized multi-facility organization.

Essential Functions:

- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.

- Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans in coordination with senior corporate and operations leadership to assure alignment with business strategies and needs of the organization

- Assist and advise senior management on HR issues affecting employee engagement and promote a high-performance culture through HR systems/programs.

- Develop HR planning models to identify competencies, knowledge & talent gaps and develop specific programs for filling any gaps. Special activities will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities.

- Direct processes for organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and manpower forecasting throughout the company. Coordinate these activities across divisions.

- Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.

- Protect interests of employees and the company in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws & regulations.

- Select and coordinate use of HR consultants, insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, training specialists, and other outside sources.
