Major tasks and responsibilities of position

GENERAL ACCOUNTING

A. General Ledger:

- Review monitoring of Accounts/ WPA requests and perform automatic clearing

B. Closing:

- Support the overall closing process together with the Shared Service Organization

- Review the result of different kind of processes e.g. revenue recognition and follow up with business; calculate impending losses and perform manual posting.

- Responsible for coordinating with Group Actuary and HR Department for valuation of Long Term Employee Benefit provision 2 times in a year for HB I & Group Reporting (HB II).

C. Statutory Reporting:

- Review reporting in (HB II); according the defined activity splits

- Ensuring compliance with the disclosure and presentation requirements as specified by the Indian Statutes, Accounting Standards, other pronouncements of ICAI and Listing Agreement.

Responsible for finding out SAP GL solution for Accounting of GAAP difference.

- Ensure preparation of 7 times HB I financials for Advance Tax and ETR/ Cashflow reporting for BCSL, BVPL & BBPL and 5 times HB1 financials for Advance Tax for BPPL

- Specific activities related to BCSL, being listed on local stock exchange :

Perform quarterly HB I reporting for the purpose local stock exchange and shareholder reporting

Coordinate and prepare financial folder for quarterly Audit Committee and Board Meeting (consisting of Independent Directors) and Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

Support/ coordinate/ provide answers to shareholder's and investor's queries and Investors meeting related to HB I financials of the Company.

Coordinate publication of Annual Report and Quarterly Publication Page to Stock Exchange.

- Provide monthly HB I financials as per the Joint Venture agreement and quarterly HB I financials for consolidation with Joint Venture partner for BZPPL.

- Review performance for XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) reporting (as prescribed by the Local Authority) for HB I financials in specific format.

D. Audit and Control & Others:

- Support external & internal audit. Perform ICS controls in his/ her own area of expertise and responsibility.

E. Assets Management (AM):

- Support Investment Process (Accounting view), perform Investment Tracking and Manage physical inventory

F. Client Accounting (Rural Development Association, non-profit making organisation)

- Supervising and interacting with qualified Chartered Accountant firm in preparation of HB I accounts and review of related MIS

BUSINESS PARTNERING

(4 Cropscience legal entities: BCSL, BVPL, BBPL & BVSPL)

- Manage major Accounting topics in close cooperation with the Head of Global Accounting Cropscience (e.g. impairments, major contracts, legal cases, acquired goodwill / intangible assets) to ensure an IFRS compliant / consistent treatment

- Actively support Subgroups in local Business development (e.g. WoC, M&A, new business model
