2. Payroll Accounting

Job Description:

General Accounting and Reporting (GAR) is responsible for recording accounting transactions, reconciliations, month end close, and compliance and reporting for various processes i.e. Revenue & Deferred Revenue Accounting, Cash & Treasury Accounting, General Ledger Management & Close, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets & Inter-Company Accounting.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Ensure monthly financial close activities are completed within timelines

- Review of monthly account reconciliations.

- Ensure that accounting and operations comply with the Accounting and Finance Manual and SOX Controls.

- Lead various process related improvement projects.

- Advise and provide solutions to improve the current systems and process.

- Hands on person who can handle work pressures.

- Understand priorities and adopt a customer centric approach within the overall team charter.

- Coordinating with cross functions and cross-countries. Facilitate strong relationship with business partners through effective communication and regular interaction.

- Good Communication skills (written and oral) & ability to perform multi-tasking and exposure to different cultures.

- Self-driven, positive, flexible towards work, ability to solve problems independently and bring innovative ideas to improve the current process.

- Should be a good team player and should provide guidance, direction and support to team members to help them develop themselves and meet their goals.

Qualifications:

- CA with 4+ years of Post Qualification experience, with commerce and strong academic background.

- Past experience working with SAP ERP, implementation experience will be preferred.

- Requires proven skills in leading/managing the execution of processes, people and projects.

- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Ability to influence stakeholders and work with senior management.

- Sound knowledge of accounting concepts & principles.
