About the Role:
The role would involve the development, management and evaluation of a range of appropriate and accessible learning and development interventions & be responsible for managing the L&D function for GAVS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in the area of learning and development.
- Conduct diagnosis, develop/design solutions and enable delivery of solutions as required.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to build capability and design/deliver solutions.
- Facilitate sessions with leadership teams to define, clarify and translate business strategy, build team effectiveness and drive relevant initiatives.
- Manages training calendar, supports change management and leadership development.
- Identifying training and development needs within an organisation through appraisal schemes/Individual Development Plans and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.
- Manages and monitoring of the learning and development budget. Helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups,
- Evaluating, amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
- Management of all learning systems, metrics and resources
Experience required:
- 10-15 years of experience in learning and development or related disciplines. Prior experience in working for IT/Software services or other Hi-Tech companies is highly desired.
- Excellent knowledge of management training skills, knowledge and techniques.
- Designing, developing and delivering learning solutions through a variety of learning media.

Education:
- MBA / PGDBM - HR, (e.g. Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline).
