Through hard work and collaboration, Gallup associates strive to build great relationships with each other and in client organizations.  The Opportunity:  - Gallup is looking for candidates with MS/PhD with research experience in the areas of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Semantic Modeling, Text Analytics and Social Media Analytics.   - The candidate should have a solid foundation in Machine Learning and Text Analytics with special emphasis on Sentiment Analysis, Text Summarization, Text Categorization and Social Media mining.   - A strong interest in designing various algorithms in text mining and its integration to existing in-house applications and processes is preferred.   - The candidate is responsible for designing new algorithms or using a combination of various existing algorithms to build a state of the art text analytics engine to solve various research problems.   - The candidate will also be responsible for transferring the requirements to system developers for building new applications.  Qualifications:  - In depth knowledge and experience in text mining, analytics and content extraction.  - 2+ years of hands on experience extracting / tagging targeted content from unstructured documents.  - Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study/relevant experience.   - A Ph. D degree is preferred.  - Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical professionals.   - Familiarity with Agile Software Development.  - Ability to work under aggressive deadlines.  Primary Location: India-Bangalore
