Job Title Group Operations   Designation Manager/Senior Manager   Reporting Relationship AVP-Group Operations   Function / Department Group Operations / Operation   Branch / Location : Thane   Description of Role :   New Business :  Ensure Smooth transition from sales team with regard to new business documents  Documentation Quality check and policy issuance.   Commission payout to brokers   Ensure the following activities are completed within the agreed TAT   Close policy discrepancy and coordinating with operations for issuing of policy documents  Policy delivery to clients   Ensure that commission are paid on time to agents / Brokers after receiving the commission invoice and policy delivery receipt  Policy Servicing :  Servicing of existing clients including Member Census, Relationship management including client visits  - Collection of Census data month on month from all clients by 10th or as per the date agreed with the client  - Quality check the census for duplication or any other discrepancy and ensure that the details of acceptance is sent to the operation team within the agreed TAT. Also quality check the endorsement, active list, CD balance, error list etc. issued by Group ops before sending the same to the client.  - Ensure that the endorsement is received from operations and delivered to the client within agreed TAT  - Ensure adequate cash balance / float amount is available with us to cover all the members as per census.   - handling client queries and concerns  Broker Commissions :  Following up for broker commission  Sharing the Commission Invoice with broker so that payment process can start.Followup for the commission payout   Member underwriting :  Individual member underwriting, guidance and support in claims closure for the clients.   - Ensure that individual medical underwriting is done as per requirement  - Ensure that client completes the same without any hassles  - Sending the reminders to the members/client/broker  - Following up with TPA team to ensure medicals should happen without any hassles and with the operation team for the decision done on the basis of the medicals done.  - Follow up personally where there is communication gap in TPA and client for smooth functioning of the same   - Follow-up with underwriter to get the approval where client is requested to share the reports of the medicals done by their own so that they can avoid of getting the all test again.  - Sharing the details of the cases in case medical done and not done with the client on time to time basis.   Policy Renewals :  - Co-ordinate with operations and ensure that renewal notice are sent on time to client by service manager  - Ensure that the census data is collected from the client and collect all the relevant renewal documents so that ops can book the renewal premium and process the renewal endorsement  - Ensure a minimum renewal persistency of 80%   - .Ensure that policy renewals are intimated 45 days in advance. Client quotes are generated on available data and submitted at least 30 days prior to renewals. Maintaining the agreed renewal persistency.   - Renewal reconciliation of member data and Documentation closure. Ensured the smooth functioning of getting the documentation done by co-coordinating with the sales team and client/Broker  - Follow-ups with the Broker / Finance team for the Funds Transfer / reflecting in our system and policies will get issued entity wise on time.  - Sharing the policy documents through soft copy as well as through hard copy with the Client/Broker.  - Sharing the Commission Invoice with broker so that payment process can start.  Claim Settlement :  - Guidance and support in claims   - To make sure that claim intimation should be done on time and in the format required by the claims team.   - Checking the basic requirement of the documentation from my end first.  - Following-up to get the claim amount within TAT.  - Keep track of sending the claim amount to the company/Broker and receiving of the discharge voucher - Follow up on Gratuity/LE claims as its comes  Other servicing Requests :  Provide resolution  - Raising Invoices 2.Sending Premium Receipt 3.Resolvng queries with reference to the CD, Endorsements, Claims, member data   Client Servicing :  Meeting client  - Scheduled Visits to MPHs once a year   - To discuss process and business flow before launch of big relationship  MIS Reporting :  Ensure preparation and release of daily, Monthly and Quarterly MIS reports  Ensure preparation and release of daily, Monthly and Quarterly MIS reports pertaining to Group ops dept. including Regulatory reporting   Competencies :  Domain Expertise   Process Excellence   Relationship Building & Influencing   Knowledge of Group Asia system   Eductation & Experience :  Minimum Graduate   At least 5 years of work experience in Group Ops (Life)   Minimum 2 years of experience in Group Ops (Life) at supervisory level   Should have interacted with Corporate Customers/brokers for Group business
