Job Title : Manager / Sr. Manager

Purpose of the Job :

Technical Competency :

- Proven ability to translate Business needs into Technology requirements that supports the company's and Business objectives and to successfully manage all phases of IT projects from need analysis, requirement definition to vendor, implementation, UAT and Training.

- Hands on experience on DC based Wintel, Linux, and VMware Technology.

- IT Infrastructure and application knowledge, Understanding generic IT (LAN, WAN, Information Security, Virtualization, End user computing) and back end IT (i.e Unix, Linux, Storage, Server, Oracle, Microsoft Windows solutions, Change Management etc.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for following :

Project Planning and Initiation :

- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and stake holders

- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.

- Develop a schedule for project completion

- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.

- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.

Project Execution :

- Execute the project according to the project plan

- Develop forms and records to document project activities

- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

- Report and Escalate to management as needed.

- Manage the relationship with clients and all stake holders.

Project Control :

- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality

- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

- Graduate (In the field of Computer Science /Engineering)

- ITIL V3
