VP - Collateral Management - Zonal

Job Description :

- Define and standardize policies and processes relating to Value empanelment, regular performance review & termination.

- Define Collateral acceptance norms and advise the Credit teams on acceptability of collateral.

- Regularly review the macro and micro property market and advise stakeholders on real estate developments, price corrections, etc at various locations. Conduct city visits for market review where required.

- Review and resolve escalations / disconnects raised by the Sales team with respect to rates, technical aspects, usage, locality and acceptability of collateral.

- To identify and update on regulatory changes / amendments in policies & rules affecting real estate.

- Review the valuers on an ongoing basis to ensure that valuations provided by them are in line with the prevalent market conditions and to assist in conducting periodic Quality Assessments on the valuer

- Periodically visit the cities / towns in their respective zones and meet with valuers, brokers, technical staff from competition, and conduct city visits to understand the market sentiment and the prevalent market conditions

- To review and resolve escalations raised by the Sales teams with respect to rates, technical aspects, usage, locality and acceptability of collateral and, to provide a balanced resolution to the Sales & Credit teams.

- Conduct Collateral visits, if required, to resolve discrepancies raised in the valuation reports and to advise on the collateral acceptance

- Ensure that Valuation MIS are diligently prepared by locations and are submitted to central office in a timely manner for further analysis.

- Ensure implementation of the valuer and valuation guidelines at their respective locations.

- To update on all regulatory as well as market developments affecting the real estate market at locations.
