We’re currently looking for qualified candidates to join our team.  JOB SUMMARY:  The Global Advisory Services (GAS) Strategy & Technology PMO, comprised of project managers, business analysts and team leaders, is charged with timely and efficient delivery of technology, process improvement, business continuity and regulatory projects in support of GAS strategies and business objectives.   The GAS Strategy & Technology PMO is seeking an experienced global leader to recruit, develop and manage a team of project managers and business analysts to deliver high-impact projects on time and on budget. This leader will collaborate with business and technology partners across the globe to deliver in accordance with project- and program-level expectations.   JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Team leadership responsibilities include:   - Select, develop, lead, coach, mentor and motivate direct and indirect reports.  - Supervise staff of up to 12 exempt professionals  - Drive ongoing engagement within the team  - Establish performance standards; ensure staff has requisite training to meet or exceed performance objectives; provide clear and timely feedback to team members; promptly, effectively and appropriately address performance issues as they arise  - Manage and maintain effective hiring processes including recruiting, interviewing, selecting and onboarding staff  - Plan and prepare annual PMP/performance development process; monitor progress against goals and objectives; prepare and present annual performance reviews; develop succession plans  - Lead by example, modeling best practices for teamwork and collaboration  Project portfolio management responsibilities include:   - Oversee projects and serve as point of escalation to ensure project objectives, benefits, budgets and timelines are met or exceeded  - Communicate priorities; assign resources to projects  - Support planning and prioritization processes for the GAS project portfolio  - Assess project- and program-level resource requirements to ensure adequate staffing  - Communicate in a timely and effective manner with technology and business partners around the globe to ensure all stakeholders are involved and informed  - Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best-practices to reduce costs and accelerate delivery timelines  - Collaborate with business partners globally, creating and maintaining strong and effective working relationships   - Perform other duties as assigned.   REQUIREMENTS:  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   - 12+ year’s progressively responsible experience in leading projects and leading people working in a medium to large corporation.  - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent   - Has worked in multi-site global organization; 2 years’ experience working abroad preferred   LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS   - Project management certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) desirable  - Quality management experience (e.g., Six Sigma, Juran, Agile) desirable  ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS   - Strong familiarity with industry recognized project management and business analyst methodologies   - Strong understanding of investment industry   - Sales & Marketing experience preferred  - Proven experience in leadership and/or management skills  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES   - Extensive knowledge of all aspects of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies  - Strong PC knowledge including use of Microsoft Office products  - Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills  - Strong decision making, customer service focus, and organizational and leadership skills  - Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills  - Ability to interact with and lead team members in a multi-site and cross-functional environment  - Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks / strong organizational skills  - Strong attention to details and quality  - Strong ability to interact with senior management within line of business and outside line of business on a regular basis   PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING   - Ability to recognize and communicate potential issues impacting the organization, helping to seek solutions and resolve with ultimate professionalism  - Effectively applies consultation skills to solve problems independently  - Makes decisions with limited impact on own work and possibly the work of others  - Oversees the development of solutions to a variety of business issues and ensures the solutions are consistent with organizational objectives  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY   - Supervise staff of up to 12 exempt professionals  - Makes hire, termination, promotional and merit decisions in adherence with appropriate internal procedures and seeking appropriate guidance where required.  - Plan and prepare annual PMP/performance development process; monitor progress against goals and objectives; prepare and present annual performance reviews; develop succession plans  DESIRED LEADERSHIP SKILLS   - Ability to supervise multiple skill levels of staff members in own and other locations   - Ability to influence and negotiate within own department and across the organization   - Ability to set direction and guide staff to desired results   - Ability to help others adapt to change   TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS   - May be required to travel to Franklin Templeton offices, customer, or vendor locations.  Would you be interested in considering career opportunities with us?
