Job Summary :

- The Client Analytics Architect, USAS will be responsible for the optimal business solution of all key technologies under the USAS umbrella (US Retail, US Institutional etc.).

- This role will work closely with internal business members to define solutions that will provide maximum and critical business benefits at lowest cost and effort. This role will work closely with FTT to complete the technical build of the solutions.

- The Client Analytics Architect will stay current with the marketplace regarding current and emerging technologies and work with FTT to influence road-maps regarding future capabilities

Job Duties/ Responsibilities :

- Leads & working with the USAS team and FTT to shape solutions within the USAS space to address ongoing business needs

- Creates and owns the USAS long-term technology road-map.

- Builds and coordinates plans to realize the USAS technology road-map

- Partners with the USAS business stakeholders to define the business cases regarding the technology needs.

- Owns and drives USAS all key technology solutions/ Primary lead on all technology projects within the USAS space.

- USAS liaison with FTT, GPS and other Business units for all key technology initiatives.

- Be a USAS SME (Subject Matter Expert) regarding emerging technology in the space of USAS by attending trade shows and performing independent research on emerging technologies and companies.

- Works with the business to identify and recommend process improvements in conjunction with or in lieu of technical solutions

- Interface and coordinate with FTT, GPS and other Business Units to develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve as a business lead as required, for key technology projects.

- Defines project objectives and success criteria (along with key business stakeholders).

- Manages trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost.

- Oversees and provides a level of quality assurance on project implementations

- Integral part of all phases in key USAS technology projects.

- Oversee aspects of project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within the business solution area

- Provides input to technical solution design activities and support FTT in translating system requirements into technology solution

- Accountable to represent the needs of the Business Unit Leaders and is responsible for the definition of business data, data relationships, priorities, and risks

- Creates and maintains the Business Data Architecture document and associated diagrams, which describe these data relationships at a level higher than the requirements or data dictionary level

- Leads and manages a team of Business Data Analysts

- Is the liaison between the Business Unit Leaders/SMEs and the Business Project Manager/business analysts for definition of the business data relationships that are in scope for SARA

- Approve the SRA (requirements) and SDS (high level design) from a Business Data Architecture perspective.

- Represent USAS for Data Governance initiatives.

Requirements :

Education And Experience :

- Requires a Post Graduate (Master- s) degree or equivalent training

- Over 10 years experience in creating business solutions though large technology projects in the Sales space.

- Have a deep understanding of processes, drivers and success factors in SALES in the financial services space.

- Experienced in both transactional and analytical technologies involving CRM, Web applications, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence technologies.

- Should have Project Management experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

- Should have demonstrated ability to engage in senior level business decision maker discussions related to business value and return on investment whilst being able to dive into technology architecture, design and operations is a core requirement.

- Should have both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.

- Technical qualifications include hands-on experience in several of the following - CRM, Web applications, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence technologies.

- Should have led multiple projects through the Software development process or Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and should have performed in a variety of different roles in that life cycle.

- Should have an in depth understanding of business data, data relationships, priorities, and risks

- Should be able to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language

- Should have the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment

Problem Solving And Decision Making :

- Should be able to collaborate across different architecture domains to integrate and understand the current and future state technology architecture that impacts or is aligned with the strategy of the organization.

- Should have demonstrated expertise using written & verbal communication skills to distill technology projects into understandable and compelling executive level presentations.

- Ability to convert business data needs into data relationships and be able to convert them into Requirements.

- Should be able to develop solutions to a variety of problems; ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives

- Should be able to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems; ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives

Desired Leadership Skills :

- Should maintain strong relationships and communication with senior business leaders, business owners and stakeholders in relation to their business strategies, policies and programs.

- Should foster a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration at all levels throughout USAS and its partners.

- Should partner across the business groups and field subsidiaries, to improve coordination, alignment, and the adoption of best practices.

- Should have the ability to supervise multiple skill levels of staff members in own and other locations

- Influence and negotiate within own department and across the organization

- Set direction and guide staff to desired results

- Deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment;

Travel Requirements :

- Occasional travel required to and from FTI offices
