The Vice President of the Business Intelligence (BI) and Visualization is a leadership position responsible for providing best in class analytical services delivery for one of our largest global clients. The incumbent must be a well-rounded leader, with the ability to approach projects both operationally and analytically. The Vice President will engage with a large, world class client to ensure timely delivery of ongoing and ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and strategic consulting to drive our current engagements.  Job Responsibilities :  - Drives client-specific business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and measurements.  - Participates in the sales process to scope client needs and frame up Fractal's approach for the Business Intelligence and Visualization practice  - Collaborate and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy  - Deliver BI & Analytics COE services, ensuring that these solutions align with the organization's strategic direction and technology standards  - Identify, validate and create new opportunities/experiences through data analysis  - Discover and implement statistical models that optimize business processes, continuously identify new opportunities to leverage analytics to improve our ongoing marketing and product operations, and develop new revenue drivers  - Evaluate, recommend, implement and maintain analytical tools  - Hire, train, and lead BI & Analytics team members and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the business users.  - Engages with clients to identify opportunities to institutionalize analytics across client organizations   Desired Skills and Experience :   - 12 + years of related Business Intelligence and Analytics and reporting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.  - Proven experience in developing Analytics applications & managing global teams in an On/Off delivery model. Agile/Rapid development delivery experience is preferred.  - Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts including data analysis, data mining, statistical analysis, with experience in applying these concepts in large enterprise environments.  - Experience with statistical languages and machine learning applications such as "R".  - Experience implementing solutions using advanced visualization tools and applications (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, Microstrategy etc.). Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc) with experience in implementing BI solutions on these platforms.  - Experience working in big data environments and knowledge of map/reduce framework (Hadoop/hive, other tools) for accessing large volumes of data is a plus.  - Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems; ability to employ a systematic approach to problem solving.  - Demonstrated ability to strongly uphold & practice innovation, superior performance, collaboration, customer focus and integrity.  Education :   - MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is required or BE /Masters or equivalent  About Us :   Fractal Analytics is a global analytics firm that serves Fortune 500 companies gain competitive advantage by providing them a deep understanding of consumers and tools to improve business efficiency.
