Title: Director - Lending Ecosystem Location: Bangalore Years of Experience: 8 - 15 At Flipkart we are looking to get to 100,000 SMEs in 2015 and 500,000 in 3-4 years timeframe. The scale of the marketplace will be defined by how much our sellers grow. The biggest bottleneck for these sellers is access to various Financial Services. To solve for this problem, we are in process of opening up a Financial Services Platform for our sellers. We want to create a platform where sellers will be able to post their requirement and choose from offerings of various financial institutions. We are looking for a head of strategic alliances for the platform whose core responsibilities would be: 1. Identify and onboard institutional lenders on the platform and build an engagement model with them. 2. Create various lending models and other financial instruments for sellers to leverage upon. 3. Work closely with the management team and business heads to understand business goals and translate them into charter and goals for the Lending ecosystem. 4. Collaborate with functions across Flipkart such as Seller support and Category to understand business objectives and identify where the financial services ecosystem can act as an enabler to growth 5. Build a team and manage the operational aspects of running operations of the platform and relationships with the Institutional lenders 6. Your (Must Haves): B.E/MS/MBA or equivalent with at least 12 years of experience Worked in a Financial services industry with credit and retail exposure Ability to build and manage strategic partnerships Strategic thinking, strong problem solving, prioritization skills with an eye for detail.
