The “Manager – Financial Systems and Business Operations” is the liaison between IT and Finance. He / She is responsible for understanding the Finance and business operations, assist in the prioritization of finance technology projects (primarily PeopleSoft and related), and ensure these projects are implemented successfully. In addition, the incumbent is expected to provide first level user support to the local finance team in their daily operations on PeopleSoft and also facilitate month end closing and reporting process on PeopleSoft and hyperion.
- Degree in computer science or accounting. Accounting / Finance background (experience / coursework) if holding a computer science degree.
- Change management and/or project management experience with track record
- Experience in process improvement or implementing processes
- Have worked in cross functional teams involving IT and Finance specifically
- Strong preference if he/she has PeopleSoft hands-on experience. Ideally with experience in three or more of the following finance modules for PeopleSoft: Contracts, Expenses, Projects, Billing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, and Accounts Receivable, purchase
- Strong communications and influencing skills
- Hands on and able to multi-task
