Position : Financial Controller

Location : Malaysia

Qualification : CA

Industry Preference - Manufacturing/FMCG

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for maintaining a healthy financial position including efficient handling of funds, meeting statutory requirements, development and implementation of systems procedures and initiatives to improve overall productivity and acting as the custodian of the entries MIS of the Company.

- Ensure appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to Ensure integrity of all transactions ensure timely and accurate reporting,

- To ensure that the financial statements are prepared in conformity with the Malaysian and International Accounting Standards as required and according to the requirements set by the other statutory bodies.

- This includes review of the plant level financial statements ensure their accuracy and preparation of consolidated financial statements.

- Comprehensive analysis and consolidation, monitor the group performance and tax Planning for each region.

- Responsible for developing suitable accounting policies and Operating procedures to improve the statutory compliance, financial, and Operational efficiency of the company support the regions and attending to audit Queries and deliver audit requests to ensure they meet all submission timeline

- Develop and implement yearly group budget, cash and credit management

- Responsible to supervise and motivate the team to ensure a high standard of work quality; and attend to ad-hoc request promptly.

- Associate for Finalization of accounts and Tax audit too.

- Ensure the development and setting in place of an effective management accounting function within the organization, in order to provide leadership to organizational improvement initiatives.

- Identify and assess the relevant techniques to be adopted, and supervise and guide the management accounting towards implementation.
