We are looking for Consultant - Public sector & Government (GRID).  Detailed Job Description:  Job Profile:  Government Reforms and Infrastructure Management (GRID) is a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) under the Business Advisory Services. The focus areas for this practice in terms of needs in the Macroeconomics and Government Finance:  - Financial risk assessments  - Strategy formulation for accelerating economic growth and development  - Public Expenditure Tracking Surveys  - Strengthening pension reforms  - Willingness to Pay Survey  - Strengthening audit mechanisms  - Preparation of memorandum to Finance Commission  - Medium-term expenditure framework  - Supporting MIS procurement and implementation  - Budget manual, other financial rules and codes  - Cash management  - Medium-term fiscal framework  - Training and capacity-building support  - Debt Management system roll-out/debt portfolio review  - Outcome budgets  - Advisory services for revenue enhancement  - Treasury reforms  - Impact assessment of impending reforms such as GST  - Gender budget  - User charges: Estimation of typical user charges  - Sector-specific audit manuals  - Identification and analysis of appropriate revenue bases  - Economic forecasting  - Macroeconomic Modeling  - Central Bank Reforms  - The candidate has to deal with Government Agencies, Donor Agencies, IDCs and Utilities Companies. It is a mix of public and private sector agencies.  Experience:  - 1-2 years of relevant experience in handling Private Public Partnership projects.  Qualification:  - Suitable candidates will be with qualifications of M.A. in Economics with specialization in Econometrics, Mathematical Economics and Public Finance.  Essential Skills:  - Experience in one or more of the following areas:  - Government Revenue Management  - Expenditure Forecasting  - Strong expertise in data analysis and econometrics modeling  - Candidate should be willing to travel.
