Job Description :  Planning  1. Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives  2.Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with strategic plan.  3.Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team.  4. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction  Operations :   1. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team  2. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.  3.Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials ; prepare and communicate monthly and annual financial statements.  4. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.  5. Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.  6. Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments  7. Oversee budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, so as to monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally.  8. Review all formal finance-, HR-, and IT-related procedures, processes, and administration, recommending improvements to the systems in place and managing the systems going forward.  9. Ensure that finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and monitor the use of all funds.  10. Coordinate all audit activities.  11. Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced  12. Implement operational best practices  13. Oversee the company's transaction processing systems  14. Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide management. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas  15 Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.  16. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.  17. Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and MIS analyses, reports, and recommendations.  Financial Information :   1. Oversee the issuance of financial information  2. Report financial results to the board of directors  Risk Management :   1. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile  2. Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry  3. Construct and monitor reliable control systems  4. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage  5. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements  6. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies  7. Report risk issues to the board of directors  8.
