Finance Manager  Mandatory :   - Preferably Chartered Accountants (CA) / Experience Graduate with Tax expertise  - 5-7 years of experience in a financial/ manufacturing sector with strong Finance & Accounting background  - Strong experience and hands-on on dealing with Indirect Taxation   - VAT, Other State taxes, Service Tax, Excise & Customs  - Awareness and hands-on knowledge of iGAAP will be preferred but not mandatory,   - Awareness of regulatory environment wrt Non Resident Companies  - The individual should be experienced in dealing with diverse range of stakeholders like Customers including senior management and Senior Traders  - Good analytical & numerical skills   - Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral & written)   - Possess strong interpersonal skills  - The individual must have a proven track record of the ability to work to meet deadlines in an accurate manner - this is a fundamental requirement  - Well organised & can multi task  - Experience of working in complex businesses  - Advanced knowledge and ability to work on Tally accounting systems, Microsoft tools - MS Excel, MS Word, Access & PowerPoint  Key Responsibilities :   - Debtors & Receivable Management   - Monthly/ Quarterly Debtors Ledger Reconciliation   - Annual Debtors Ledger finalisation and confirmations from customers  - Passing Entries in Tally to update customer ledgers  - Cross Checking of calculations made for Dr/ Cr. Notes prepared by Operations  - Communication with Customers about Ledger Reconciliation and confirmation  - Weekly Receivable Exposure Reporting to Management  - Escalations to Management about Hot Spots / gaps.  - Indirect Tax compliances  - Expert knowledge on VAT, Service Tax, Excise & Customs  - Submission of Quarterly / Annual State Tax Returns for all States in addition to Excise. This is across all India Trading Subsidiaries   - Qtrly Service Tax Refunds Calculations and submission to authorities (TGS Only)  - Ensure valid registrations for each business location under every tax.  - Assessments & Representation before authorities. Assessments with State Tax Authorities and reporting- s  - Supporting Statutory Audits  - Regular check and compliance reporting- s  - Weekly MIS to Management e.g., Pending C Form, E1 Forms, Bill Of Entry and status on other statutory filings.  - Be a change agent by maximising efficiencies through process re-engineering  Key Relationships :  - Traders  - Operations & Finance Function   - Customers &   - Senior Management
