Finance Controller - CA - Internet/IT/Online

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a member of our leadership team by playing a key role in Hyderabad Office Operations.

Highlight key risks that the cost center faces and provide the insight to enable decision making in various aspects of business.

Ensure that company books are accurately maintained as per GAAP.

Prepare annual plans, quarterly forecasts, periodic reviews and updates.

Manage payroll preparation, non-taxable salary components and reimbursements, process Pay slips and Form 16.

Petty cash management and be responsible for all of the bank management

Prepare P&L and balance sheets.

Preparation of monthly intercompany invoices in accordance with company tax and transfer pricing policies and local statutory requirements

Work on all monthly/quarterly/periodic tax filings such as TDS, Service Tax, PF, PT, STPI etc..

Preparation and reconciliation of annual data with corporate.

Support and preparation for Global Audit, Local Statutory Audit and Tax Audits

Establish and enforce internal controls in accordance with Host Analytics company policies and authority delegation matrix.

Help manage in operational matters that may be assigned time to time.

Mentor and supervise junior members of the team, if assigned.

Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisation.

Review all the vendor Contract agreements, SOWs/Work Orders /Change orders. Assure vendors are invoicing accurately and timely

Process purchase orders and contracts,

Drive innovation in commercial structuring of deals by understanding and aligning to cost center needs

Ability to display high integrity in disbursement of funds, dealing with vendors and their payments,

Manage the existing team for some transactions related shared services items for parent company pertaining to Accounts Payable. Employee Reimbursements, Revenue Recognition, Cash Collections out of India office.

Ability to articulate and communicate your ideas, views, analysis and recommendations with senior

This is a hands-on position that requires a self-starter with a 'roll-up the sleeve' approach.

Ability to travel for shorter duration to corporate office in USA at least once in a year.

Qualifications

CA (Chartered Accountant) with 4-6 years of experience. / ICWA

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

High-tech industry experience preferred.

International experience including consolidations preferred.

Startup mentality-self-sufficient, able to work with limited resources; deal with shifting priorities, problem solver and team player.

Excellent organizational skills and PC skills - MS Windows, Word and Excel preferred.

Strong systems background preferred and proven ability to research and document technical accounting issues.

Good interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Handle multiple tasks and undertake new tasks quickly.
