Finance Controller, Mumbai  - Individual contributor role as company is small sized  - Role is more operational around finance and accounting  About Our Client:  Our client is one of the leading European Infrastructure MNC largely into highway and toll projects. They are already present in India from quite some time and have a base in South India which they want to expand on. Taking a cue from the same they are setting up an office in Mumbai as well and need a Finance controller based out of Mumbai. They are currently in the midst of finalizing office location (most likely around Nariman Point).  Job Description:  Reporting to India Country Manager, you will be responsible for:  - Interacting with the finance and administration team located in South India as well as the Group's corporate staff based in Europe  - Overseeing all company accounts and investments; supervise accounting activities at each of the assets. Providing budget, monthly reporting, CapEx proposals, profitability and costs analysis for various business decisions  - Supporting the creation of annual budgets and multi-year planning at the assets. Establishing and implementing financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations, legislation and Group standards  - Managing bank accounts and make payments to creditors, payroll and authorities  - Providing financial analysis as needed to support business decisions regarding capital investments, contract negotiations, etc. and formulating business strategies  - Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions  - Supporting the Group's corporate staff in the analysis of M&A projects  The Successful Applicant:  Ideally, you are a CA and have 8-12 years of experience in an MNC environment in a controlling role. You have worked in mid-small cap size companies before and are comfortable working in lean teams. You have had international reporting lines or have managed stakeholders outside India.
