Position Title: Finance Controller  Reporting to: CFO  Position Summary  The incumbent would be responsible for:  - Manage the corporate accounting to reporting functions for the Corporation, to ensure the financial results are accurately reported to management, shareholders and appropriate external parties under USGAAP, INDAS & Company Act.  - Coordinate, collaborate and manage maintenance of statutory company records and risk management programs to meet management, statutory and shareholder requirements as well as development and maintenance of internal control policies and procedures to contribute towards existence of a strong corporate governance and - best practice- .  - Maintenance of statutory compliance including risk management.  - Direct and coordinate the management of short and long term funds and ensure that adequate strategies are developed to limit the risks associates with foreign exchange and interest rate exposure.  - Direct and coordinate the management of the Group's accounts payable function to provide essential administrative support to all business units. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement  - Direct and coordinate the management of the Company's credit control function to provide essential administrative support to all business units. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement  - Direct and control Property, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) accounting for the Company to meet the reporting requirements of management and shareholders by providing timely reports and analysis that accurately reflect and ensure the integrity of the Company's PP&E asses. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.  - Internal control policies and procedures including custodian of all.  Major Challenges  - Working with subject matter experts remotely  - Managing multi-functional interactions under tight deadlines  - Ability to interpret local legalisation   - Potential high exposure position due to value and external interfaces   Scope & Job Nature  The position directs and controls the corporate reporting function and acts as a key financial deputy of the Finance Director. The incumbent leads corporate financial reporting, mill accounting and reporting, PP&E accounting, credit management and accounts payable functions and is directly responsible for financial controls and for reviewing and recommending appropriate internal controls in these areas of responsibility. In performing these responsibilities the incumbent provides work direction, performance coaching and career development and recruitment of staff.  The position is responsible for the coordination of the risk management function and collaboration with Regional Risk Management team to provide the advice and expertise or reviews to maintain risk management programs for the Company. Failure to correctly evaluate and cover risk can leave the Company exposed to significant financial liability.  The position is responsible for the coordination of internal control programs. The opportunity exists to enhance company's profitability by contributing to process improvements with recommendations of the required internal control that could be implemented and by implementing reviews on internal controls for effectiveness and cost justified.  Qualifications & Experience   Degree in Accounting, CA qualified; preferably CS also and at least 10 years exposure to Corporate Business, including 3 years in a senior accounting/finance position in a Multi-National Company.
