About our Client - Our client is a US-based consulting services and information services provider to the Healthcare Industry. They have been in business for 60 years with operations in over 100 countries. Their clients come from the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing domain. They are looking for a seasoned Finance professional with hands-on experience and strategic decision making ability, for the Finance Controller role.

Job Description : While reporting to the Director Finance your responsibilities would be to :

- Review accuracy of monthly financial statements and management accounts

- Analyze and interpret monthly results and follow up on significant variances with team leaders

- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards for financial processes

- Provide strong operational support with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts

- Prepare month end reconciliations

- Liaise with auditors

- Provide ad-hoc training and accounting support as required

- Maintain high level of financial control in area by developing pricing strategies and monitoring spending

- Manage a team of 5

The Successful Candidate :

- You are a Chartered Accountant with at least 6+ years post qualification experience. The individual has hands-on experience in financial planning, accounting, budgeting, reporting and managing stake holders.

- You come from a services background with understanding of how the pharmaceutical industry functions.

- You must be well versed with USGAAP.

- You are ready to manage the team by coaching and mentoring the existing team members. You should be a well presented and well spoken individual.
