Job Description:

- As a Finance Controller, you will handle all areas of finance except tax, treasury and CAPEX.

- Reporting directly to the CFO, broadly your responsibilities will include establishing and improving accounting policies and procedures, handling the AR, AP, reporting and budgeting and general accounting.

- As the company grows through inorganic growth, the candidate will also continuously evaluate internal control environment by monitoring compliance of internal processes and propose improvement initiative if required.

- This would certainly involve undertaking various business enablement/ process improvement projects in close coordination with the ERP (primarily SAP) implementation team.

- Additionally, the candidate will be called in to participate and contribute on various M&A projects.

- On the team management side, the candidate will manage a team of 6-7 people of which 2-3 people will be directly reporting to the candidate.

The Successful Candidate:

- The successful candidate should be a CA with over 8 to 10 years of experience in either the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.

- Sound knowledge of accounting standards is a must. Working knowledge of the local tax laws is good to have.

- What's critical is that the candidate should have worked in a SAP environment before and this is non-negotiable for our client.

- Stakeholder management and team management are additional competencies that the candidate will be judged on.
