Finance Business Partnering role - for an eCommerce Retail team

Summary of Responsibilities
Looking for a Finance Analyst to be a key business partner with the Retail teams. Our client is continuing to expand its successful retail business world-wide, and we are looking for a highly motivated leader who will partner the vendor management team and will be responsible for setting business controls in the vendor management process of India business.
- The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with external vendors as well as internal cross-functional teams - Corporate accounts; Finance operations; vendor management teams; AR and software development teams.
Primary responsibilities:
- Design and execute the vendor management process for the India business
- Identify key control gaps area and set up weekly / monthly review process to track the health of vendor payment process
- Work closely with the vendor finance teams and own claims management and vendor disputes
- Lead controls in the area of stock delivery and vendor returns and ensure accuracy in recording of these transactions
- Highlight concerns in existing vendor contracts and drive actions to improve the terms year on year
- Forecast working capital requirement of the business and drive actions amongst cross functional team to achieve working capital targets
Basic Qualifications:
- ACA - Chartered Accountant / ICWA - Cost Accountant / MBA or an experienced finance professional with 4+ years of experience in vendor management and Purchase to pay process.
- Experience in leading cash and working capital management
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in Excel and SQL
- Solid communication skills - written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the retail business
