This position is with a Euronext listed transnational company of more than 1,400 employees. It is the world leader in integrated technology solutions - software, CAD/CAM equipment and associated services.

1. POSITION SUMMARY

Based in Bangalore, India, this position will be responsible for providing financial, administrative (office & HR) and management information for the region of India. The mission implies the management of a team of 2 people for the whole region.

He/she will deliver strategic leadership on financial issues including profit improvement, cost control and productivity improvements. He/she will be the interface between the Country area and the Headquarters on Financial, Administrative, Legal and HR administration aspects.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Administrative & Financial Operations Management

- P&L, Financial Accounting. Oversee the operation of control accounts and reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.

- Cash flow. Monitor the cash flows of the region and ensuring appropriate banking arrangements are in place and operating satisfactorily. Responsibility for cash flow, AR projections on a rolling weekly basis.

- Client accounts. Ensure the effective accounting and management of the various client accounts. Oversee departmental compliance with client money regulations.

- Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly closing of books and reporting for group consolidation;

- Budget/ Forecasting. Providing budget inputs & supporting in validation process; Preparation of monthly forecast. Build up the Country budget. Master and check the budgeted expenses. Propose actions plan.

- Payroll. Oversee the operation of the monthly payrolls including liaison with the out-sourced providers.

- Annual Reports. Responsibility for preparation of the annual report consisting of items such as profit sharing schedules, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts. Responsibility for the preparation of the annual tax pack to enable the tax return to be produced. Ensure that all necessary legal, fiscal social declarations and documents are properly done on due time.

- Team Management. Create and develop synergy between the team within the Country organization.

- MIS reporting (e.g. cash & bank, contract base, AR, deferred revenue etc. & Forecasting);

- Administration of statutory compliances; Intercompany balances reconciliation ; Managing statutory, internal & tax audits;

- Manage the purchase of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate.

- Logistics administration - Manage the overall logistics such as import / export process for the Indian subsidiary

- Others (e.g. supporting preparation of Weekly Business Report & Quarterly Progress Report, overseeing secretarial compliances, review of Consumable & Parts price list (INR) in consultation with HQ, filling up HR forms as and when required etc.)

- Operations Support and Business Follow-up

- Business Follow up. Follow-up of business and performance on the basis of the Balanced Score-card defined for the region, with the Strategic Account Manager, Services Manager and Marketing Manager. Build and follow up indicators of performance on new sales, services contracts, spare-parts & consumables sales, training & consulting- .

- Organization. Work with the Regional Management team in adapting constantly the organization of the teams and in defining what the best approach is in each country.

- Rules and procedures application. Ensure that all group rules and procedures are respected within the region on all functional domains (sales, after-sales services, administration- ).

- Customer Care & Project planning. Work with Director of the Country in developing and reviewing the financial business case for new projects. Provide funding solution for customers. Validate the orders.

- Interface with the Headquarters

- Management Accounts. Responsibility for the timely preparation and interpretation of the subsidiaries' monthly forecast and quarterly statutory reports to HQ in compliance with IFRS norms.

- HR Administrative Activities. Be the main contact of the Corporate HR team located in Paris for all issues (reporting, recruitment, training, compensation & benefits, terminations- ).

- Reporting & Communication. Regularly report on all issues to the Headquarters. Be proactive. Alert the Headquarters in case of any problems or material variance to budget or forecast

3. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

- Fluent in English.

- Knowledge of effective methods of organizing and implementing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and procurement functions.

- Knowledge of the IFRS norms, Indian Tax Regulations (ST, VAT, CD, etc) regulations essential.

- Excellent analytical and problems solving skills including ability to resolve complex budgeting and financial issues and review and comprehend statistical data and financial reports.

- Ability to develop and implement internal financial controls, policies and procedures affecting financial management of operating and program budgets.

- Commercial understanding gained through experience in commercial areas; A thorough knowledge of cross-functional processes and operations

- IT literacy ; Ability to present information in a compelling way.

- Business partnering skills/collaborative style; Strong customer service orientation;

- Relevant managerial experience and excellent people management skills. Coaching and people development skills;

- Both proactive and professional in his/her approach and be able to demonstrate strong intellectual ability.

4. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CA / MBA preferred.

- 10 - 12+ years of experience in financial and administrative positions, preferably in the IT/Software/consulting industry.

- Experience proven in team management.

5. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

5.1 Travel

This position requires occasional travel - approximately 10%.
