Overview  Business Analytics & Research (BA&R), a part of FMR India, is a consulting and insights team that enables business leaders at Fidelity Investments to make informed decisions. The team uses a combination of business & investment research, advanced analytics and decision sciences to solve business problems at the operational, tactical and strategic level. The group has a high focus on leveraging digital data and insights to facilitate critical decisions across digital marketing, design, experience and product teams. The group houses top talent, with over three-fourths of the associates having a post graduate degree or PHD. The group provides a unique exposure to the financial services industry spanning workplace investing, personal investing, institutional investing, asset management and private equity.  This position is part of the Digital Analytics team within Personal Investing. The Digital Analytics and Insights team provides analytics and insights across all paid, owned, and earned channels, including paid search, natural search, display, site, trading platform, mobile apps, and social media. This role is part of the Earned media channels vertical of the team.  Role Description:  - In-depth analyses of user feedback across the various owned and earned channels - onsite, app and social media.  - Translate business needs/requirements coming from partners/stakeholders into analytical framework and deliver impactful analyses/presentations  - Present / showcase analyses to senior leadership   - Responsibility to coach and mentor team members to deliver strong and impactful insights / recommendations  - Represent team across all internal forums / processes as appropriate.  - Bring industry best practices on social media and text analytics to the team and be a subject matter expert in text analytics.  - Building and operationalizing appropriate processes to meet business needs  - Strong focus on innovation and an ability to operate independently in an environment strongly focused on creating impact for the business   - Cross-team collaboration to drive integrated insights  - Connect with other teams working on text analytics to share best practices and drive capability development across the organization.  - Regular connects with US partners and stakeholders to have a very strong understanding of business problems; showcase individual and team's work.  - Guide team to build / enhance knowledge on text and social media analytics   - Identify opportunities for optimization of the end to end experience   - Leverage multiple data sources that include Oracle databases, Clickstream data, customer survey data and Adobe Analytics to drive analyses  - Help drive core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute plans to drive improvements to the digital experience  - He/She may also work with the technical team to identify gaps and improve the data capture strategy.  - Create dashboards (static and interactive) by pulling data from different data sources for presentations to senior management team  Candidate Description  - Strong Text Analytics background with focus on digital experience data to drive optimized digital experience  - Strong analytical skills providing insights as well as recommendations for changes convincing decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions  - Flair for qualitative data analyses and interpretation and ability to process data to draw insights, answering - so what- questions about data  - High degree of pro-activeness in analysing customer behaviour using available data to influence changes on the website  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with specific focus on - persuasive, influencing- communication style  - Ability to effectively present analysis and insights to varying audiences in person and over call  Behavioural Attributes  - Strong inter-personal skills to help collaborate across teams  - Logical thinking and ability to sift through data to identify insights   - Proactive approach to identify potential challenges / opportunities and move quickly to address them  - Attention to detail  - Ability and willingness to continuously learn and keep abreast of latest developments in the field of text analytics.  Education and Experience  - MBA/MA Economics or equivalent qualifications from premier schools  - 8-10 years of experience in text analytics, preferably in the digital domain  - Strong understanding of and experience with analysis of large volume unstructured data.   - Experience on text analytics tool like Clarabridge, BrandWatch highly desirable  - Experience with programming languages like R / Python highly desirable
