The person will be responsible for both the strategy and logistical management of the program.  Activities will include, design, conceptualizing Recognition frameworks in line with the cultural nuances of GDS and program managing aspects from design to implementation.  Essential Functions of the Job:  1. Evaluate and compare existing recognition programs both local and global to identify key differences and possible areas of alignment i.e.Extra Milers, BBWY  2. Transforming existing recognition programs by recommending design changes that would work from Global, local cultural perspective and cutting through a diverse workforce.  3. Working with the BMC team in ensuring any new initiatives are re-branded and socialized with the umbrella themes of Recognition.  4. Creating a lot of buzz around recognition programs, be it live, virtual and be a change agent for cultural change.  5. Consistently monitor existing recognition programs and recommend changes during the planning phase.  6. Continue to recommend recognition service providers who can make a difference to the GDS Talent recognition arena.  7. Plan, develop and/or participate in networking events associated with Rewards and recognition.   8. Conduct focus group discussions leveraging the Talent consultant network to understand what is working and not working from Recognition framework.  9. Leverage technology as much as possible to centralize and cascade Recognition programs including a recognition portal.  10. Ensure deep dive analysis, ROI of recognition programs are consistently monitored and reported back to management through utilization metrics, pulse surveys etc.  11. Help in the change management process and communicate the same to the larger employees.   12. Partnering with Procurement and Risk management as and when necessary when new service providers are signed up for.  13. Ensure prompt and accurate compliance.  Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:   1. Extensive understanding of industry wide Recognition programs and how it would work.  2. A moderate degree of autonomy granted in decision making.  3. Problem solving skills and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing and auditing work;   4. Advanced project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once  Knowledge and Skills Requirements:  1. A self-starter and initiative taker.  2. Should be able to tap into both Global and local networks to identify Recognition program opportunities.  3. An individual who is eager to learn and research on topics.  4. Team player.  5. Work independently. Must be hands-on with high level of energy and professional skills to function effectively and independently in a fast growing environment with diverse stakeholders.  6. Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills for internal presentations.  7. Ability to seek out information, clearly communicate information and requests and provide quality advice.  8. Ability to effectively manage communication and relationships in a highly matrix organization structure.  9. Demonstrate the ability to highly network and also look for opportunities to attend external forums.  Other Requirements:  May have to deliver on key projects within quick turnaround time.  Education:  1. Bachelors preferably Post graduate  Experience:  1. 7-10 years of experience preferably in a similar field.
