Job purpose   - Your main objective is handling accounting and general ledger functions, including monthly reconciliation and close preparation of audit reports, schedules and other financial data, maintain efficient internal financial controls and business processes.  Specific Role requirements  - Review and delivery of high level reports to US Leadership on a regular/ ad-hoc basis   - Effectively manage escalations   - Manage and ensure effective transition of process by scheduling project inputs, assigning resources and responsibilities  - Develop back up plan and focus on cross training the team   - Own & review of US books of accounts   - Responsible for meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Turn Around Time (TAT) & Accuracy   - Act as a finance consultant to US Finance to maintain the accounts   - Ensure delivery of monthly reporting packs to key stake holders   - Manage expectation, variance analysis and explanation to clients   - Manage, develop and implement the aspects of quality compliance and accuracy attributes   - Review the existing quality processes and procedures and provide suggestions for improvement in business processes for efficient functioning   - Work on internal projects and drive the team to deliver goods on those projects   - Manage the department and ensure that the team consistently delivers quality results   - Confer with clients to discuss and resolve matters such as complaints and implementation problems   - Interact with customers and clients to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and discuss them with senior leadership   - Plan, organize and direct transition activities   Client Responsibilities:  - Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators  - Perform GL Account Reconciliations & Review Reconciliations  Experience and Qualification:  - Qualified CA/ ICWA with 15+years of experience in core finance  - Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills  - Excellent Consulting Skills  - SAP Experience a must  - Experience in leading a core finance team is desirable  - Exposure to corporate finance function  - Strong accounting Knowledge  - Any practical exposure to IFRS, IFRS certifications will be an added advantage  Your people responsibilities (For People Leading Roles)  - Should have excellent people centric team management skills and conduct performance reviews  - Guide & mentor the team to deliver quality work  - Building a quality culture  - Manage the performance management for the direct reportees, as per the organization policies  - Foster teamwork and lead by example  - Training and mentoring of project resources  - Plan timely training for respective departments to maintain and improve skills of team members   - Work with Managers to understand the team's concerns and resolve them   - Delegate tasks appropriately and develop Supervisors and others to move to next level   - Work under pressure, managing absenteeism, attrition and people issues   - Handle internal escalation as well as escalation from other teams in Global Delivery Services regarding people issues or client issues.   - Providing effective solutions and guiding team members on various Functional issues   - Ensure the career development plan for each team member is adhered  Additional Skills requirements  - Good Audit / Review Skills  - Proven Leadership skills  - Prior Client facing skills  - Strong Communication Skills  - Problem Solving skills  - Be decisive on real time basis  - Have good business knowledge
