POSITIONS TITLES -   1) AVP - Cognitive Technologies Architect  3) AVP - AI {Artificial Intelligence - Data Modeling} - COE Lead  FUNCTION -   EXLs Global Technology  REPORTS TO -   Vice President - Technology Applications  SPAN OF CONTROL -   Senior Manager, Manager, Lead Assistant Manager   BASIC FUNCTIONS -   - Lead the technology architecture and design of complex, enterprise-level Cognitive applications and systems.   - Manage the technology architecture and design of complex, enterprise-level Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and systems.  - Significant experience in Natural Language Processing with hands on with advanced technology such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Data architecture (Data Analytics, Big Data, Java, Python).   - Design, develop and build Demos, POCs and POVs to showcase Cognitive systems solutions and frameworks  - Experience in Microsoft Cognitive Services would be preferred.   - Porting and tuning Cognitive applications for performance and maximum throughput using modern GPU Accelerators  - Identify the industry leading Cognitive solutions / framework which match with client requirements and Implement, such as Caffe, Cortana, IBM Watson, Rage, TensorFlow etc.  - Apply knowledge to create an environment that fosters accountability, quality, commitment, growth and innovation.   - Provide post engagement architectural and artifacts along with other documentation and collateral  - Teaming with the local ecosystem of provider- s, developers, local center teams, sales teams and services providers to progress opportunities  - Ability to fine tune the solution using both software and hardware  - This position must be able to advise and collaborate with business users and subject matter experts to gather and clarify requirements and effectively negotiate solutions and provide expert consulting services in the identification and resolution of highly complex AI architecture related issues  - Research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques to further the firm's software solutions offerings to support the business and review business process and technical solution designs to help ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -   - Hands on experience in at least one core technology to build the cognitive solution e.g. open source tools, Microsoft Technology and techniques such as python/R   - Responsible for identify / recommending / proposing AI use cases relevant to client context and be able to define proposed technology implementation.  - Sound knowledge of Machine learning algorithms/econometrics/statistics/data mining and research methods.   - Use techniques from artificial intelligence/machine learning/deep learning to solve supervised and unsupervised learning problems.   - Extensive experience in Software Architecture and Design, Cross Technology/Cross Platform Application Design   - Must possess a balance of analytical problem solving and strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.  - Communicates with Stakeholders (both Internal & External) for Advanced Automations & Robotics Solution approach, Technical architecture and Information security & compliance requirements  REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS -   - Experience in architecture and development using: Deep Solutions Architecture experience using different technologies and design patterns example; Agile experience; Cloud, PaaS, DaaS, Big Data Analytics, Hadoop, Spark, Map-Reduce, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, NLP; AWS, Rules Engine.   - Experience in mobile architecture and development using: Native and Hybrid approaches  - Cross-domain understanding of the applicability of software solutions and off-the-shelf software, as well as experience communicating technology strategy and direction for all levels of management, end users, and technical staff  - Certification on Cognitive tools like Microsoft Bot Framework & Cognitive Services, Amazon Alexa etc.  - Prior delivery experience with Robotic Process Automation is a plus  - Basic understanding of Machine Learning techniques & industry applications  - Experience in and understanding of data and information management, especially in Big Data trends.  - Exposure to cloud technologies like Azure, Bluemix etc.  REQUIRED PROCESS SPECIFIC SKILLS -   - Understanding/Delivery Experience in a Business Aligned IT scenarios  - Understanding and experience of various SDL model Agile/Scrum, Waterfall etc.   DESIRED SOFT SKILLS -   - Excellent Presentation, Verbal and written communication skills   - Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including data analysis and validation  - Able to work independently and as part of a team  - Worked / exposure to software application management   - Strong customer service orientation ability to connect with global customers and work with Global teams.  - Good listening and consultative skills  - Good Negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills   EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS -   - Hands on Experience in developing Cognitive Solution  - Master's Degree from an accredited college/university preferred  - Certification in AI, Data Science related technology is a plus  WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS -   - 10+ Years of experience in technology, application and information architectures and the delivery of applications in distributed processing environments and relevant architecture experience  - Proven to be Strong technical and business solution experience  - Experience in a BPO / ITES environment is preferred
